Courses Based on Private 1 - 2 - 1 Tuition
Ever wondered how stained glass windows or Tiffany lamps are made?
Then I can show you. I specialise in both lead work and copper foil work and can teach you the skills to make your own decorative pieces.
Short Bursts 2 hours
Available from 10th January 2011
There are several stages to making a stained glass window or a copper foil piece. My 5 ‘Short Bursts’ are designed to concentrate on those area’s one at a time.
- Design / Pattern
- Glass Cutting, both straight lines and shapes in clear glass
- Leading & Soldering
- Copper Foiling & Patina
- Cementing
Each 2 hour stage costs £50. Or £220 if you book all 5.
Short Bursts can be booked daily or weekly.

Day Courses in Both Lead Work & Copper Foil Work
Available from 14th February 2011
- Lead work in a day costs £140.00 This includes all use of tools, glass and materials for your first project.
- Copper foil work in a day costs £120.00 This also includes use of tools, glass and materials for your first project.
Each day course is based on 7 hours with 30 minutes for lunch. You will need to bring a packed lunch with you. Tea & Coffee is provided.
